TRANSWORLD

The consorcium of the project "TRANSWORLD - Redefining the transatlantic relationship and its role in shaping global governance" aims at examining the current state of transatlantic relations and to identify new ways to shape global governance and the role of the EU and the US in this respect. The project runs for three and half years from March 2012 and has been supported financially by the European Commission from the 7th Framework Programme. Leading universities and institutes from Europe and the US are cooperating on the project. The Department of West European Studies is contributing to Work Packages on security and environmental policy besides other activities.
